Meet Paige Sprietsma

 

Paige Amsler Sprietsma, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with widely ranging experience, will be joining the practice. She will be specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness with a focus in Women’s Health.

Mrs. Sprietsma is a Beaufort local who is known to many in the community. At the start of her career, she served as an oncology nurse practitioner where she managed blood disorders and cancer treatments at South Carolina Cancer Specialists in Bluffton, SC, and then later as a nurse practitioner for The Spine Institute of the Carolinas where she managed patients with neck and back pain.

Mrs. Sprietsma graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 2010 and thus began her nursing career at Beaufort Memorial Hospital where she worked for 8 years as a nurse in the hospital’s Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Department. She went on to obtain a Master’s of Science in Nursing at The Medical University of South Carolina in 2018.

She and her husband, Charlie, have two young boys. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time on the boat with her family, exercising, and reading.
